Atelier Voss Wins Oslo Opera House Extension Competition

Our design for the Oslo Opera House extension has been selected from an international shortlist of 120 entries. The winning proposal creates a new performance hall and public landscape that extends the iconic waterfront building.

The project, expected to break ground in 2026, will add 25,000 square meters of performance and rehearsal spaces while maintaining the beloved public roof of the original building.
